360° Model Train Experience at the Colorado Model Railroad Museum
Bikeshop Agency designed and built a custom 3D printed mounting bracket to mount the Insta 360 One X camera to a HO scale flat car. The camera is capable of filming a complete spherical video image at 5k resolution.
Museum patrons wear the Oculus Go 3D goggles to experience the model rail as if they have hopped aboard a flat-car, just behind the locomotive. The experience is so lifelike you’ll forget that it’s 1:87 scale.
